Well it was back to uni today, and it really wasn't too bad at all, i missed my first lecture cos i couldn't be arsed to go (woo hoo! great start!) there's been a little dog called poppy living with us for the past few days which has been interesting, i'm working 29 hours this week including a stint at the freshers fayre which should be a piece of piss. Llanelli won at the weekend, going out drinking a few times this week hopefully yet still have no money for food, oh well, i shall survive (famous last words possibly)

Awwwh dammit! This saturday the Llanelli v Edinburgh game is free for children AND students!! It kicks off at 5:30.......the exact time that i start work on saturday Grrrrrrrrr!!!
Back to uni next week, i'm not quite sure how i feel about that just yet but i'm already lining up lots of things to do to break up this next term a bit (gigs, rugby, gigs, rugby) Starting with Bloc Party at Cardiff Ifor Bach in October with Laura. Then lots of rugby to go to including some Wales internationals and (finally) some scarlets games. Oh also i'm a drummer away from having a new band which is quite exciting, it'll be interesting to see where this goes. Anyway, i've got work in an hour so i'd best stop wasting my time on here and get something to eat. Record of the week this week is the new 20 minute live version of the Super Furries 'The Man Don't Give a Fuck' I can't believe they're actually releasing it but they are and it's great so go get it. It's a happy time at the mo, work is good, everyone will be back for uni soon and i'm lining up a number of things to look forward to (gigs and rugby mostly)
I'm still a bit ill so i think i'll lay off drinking for a bit and try to stop being ill, aside from that things are looking pretty rosey. So farewell summer and lets all look forward to the cold bleak winter ahead and find as many was as possible to make it less bleak. Wednesday, September 01, 2004
Reading was great and now i'm suffering for it, well over 2 crates of beer, some various other substances, no food, no water, lots of mud, some rain, some sun and lots of cool bands.
From what i can remember i saw The White Stripes, Graham Coxon, Soulwax, Ash, Franz Ferdinand, The Libertines, Morrissey, The Hives, My Red Cell, Bloc Party, The Secret Machines, Auf Der Maur, The Distillers, Supergrass, The Fiery Furnaces, Dogs Die in Hot Cars, Placebo, Young Heart Attack, Super Furry Animals, Lostprophets, Dropkick Murphys and some of 50 Cent getting bottled off stage Hurrah!!! I'm going to carry on being ill now, am i meant to starve a cold or feed it?? I'm not sure which :(
