The Chili Peppers gig at the Millennium stadium was pretty damn good, best performance i've seen from the chili's! Me and Ceri-anne were right at the front despite waltzing in 2 hours after the gates had opened, we were both rather pissed too after making our way thru a few beers and a bottle of wine each but that just added to the fun.
Overall James Brown and the Chili's were both very good and it was a fun night so yayy!!

I neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed a job!! Somebody employ me pleeeeeeeeeease!!!!!!!
It's been a pretty uneventful week really since the thrills and wonders of the isle of wight, haven't done anything that springs to mind now, got Red Hot Chili Peppers gig to go to on wednesday at the Millennium Stadium, apart from that this week could be equally as dull and lifeless, something needs to happen soon or i'll make it happen GRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!

The Isle of Wight festival was amazing! We met loads of randoms and Bruce our mascot duck got into all kinds of situations (including an unfortunate incident of falling off a 20 foot pole and breaking his neck) The Who and David Bowie were both as great as i could have hoped for and the atmosphere for the whole weekend was really good.
It was sunny and hot all weekend long, i don't think it dipped below 30 degrees in the day time, even on the ferry there and back it was sunny (and very windy) once again i didn't need to eat for the whole of the festival and instead got through about 50 beers.
Life has almost returned to normal now, i was still feeling a bit dazed yesterday and my mind (and stomach for that matter) don't seem to be quite back to full strength yet but it should only be matter of time.
Oh and watching thousands of England football fans celebrate beating france moments before losing 2-1 in the final minute................ Priceless!

The other night i randomly flicked onto mtv2 (as i always do when nothing is on...hmmm so maybe not so randomly....anyway) and there was a piece of music playing, no lyrics (i'd missed them) and it just really hit me, i stayed on it to see who it was, it went on for a while and it was really great! Chris moaned it was boring but what does he know about music (heheh) to my shock i discovered at the end of this fantastic piece of music that it was performed by Hope of the States! a band who i currently have a passing interest in due to their pretty good tune at the mo (The Red, The White, The Black, The Blue) but this was really different and really fucking good!!
It's called 'Black Dollar Bills' and if you download it make sure it is at least 7 minutes (there are some disappointing edited versions about) anyway i think it's really good and i may even buy their album now.
I just needed to say something about it, and now i have.
Exam in just over 14 hours which is poo and one on thursday morning which is more poo but then Isle of Wight festival HURRAH!!! Not poo at all!!!

What a long week! It seemed to go on forever, doing lots of work didn't help although there was a nice break on wednesday when i went with Laura to Cardiff to see Graham Coxon at the Engine Rooms, i did get all of my work finished and handed in on a manic friday which resulted in drinking from about 2pm till 2am which was very very nice.
It's been lovely weather recently i really should get out a bit and enjoy it more.
This week i have exams and the Isle of Wight Festival to look forward to, i should set about getting a job some time soon too.
Busy busy june is in full swing! Yay! Joy!
